A rewarding environment

At Fidelity India, we create and design engagement initiatives that build on our employees’ understanding of Fidelity and its goals. All the initiatives are led by our employees and help contribute to a healthy and a vibrant work environment. This is what makes Fidelity India such an exciting place to work.

G-15 is a cross-functional group of tenured and experienced employees who came together to become the change leaders. The group was given a completely clean slate with no attached mandates. They were tasked with thinking of new ideas to support the evolutionary process of our growth.

The batch of G-15 that has recently been constitutionalised is working on the following themes:

Face to Face

Face to Face (F2F) was initiated in 2011 as a platform for the mid-management and the Country Head to get to know each other better and share ideas. In order to further build better synergies, in Phase II of the initiative, cross-functional teams of managers and senior managers came together to discuss two key themes – breaking silos and people development. Each F2F group developed its own unique thought process which gave way to three significant initiatives that have today taken concrete form in the organisation.

F5 was conceived by a group of self-driven employees who built on the enthusiasm spawned by the 10-year anniversary of the India office. The idea was to continue out-of-the-box thinking and drive people-focused programmes to ensure a more engaged organisation. Since its inception, the core mantra of the team has been 'Renew. Revive. Refresh’.

F5 is currently a home to four hobby clubs; Megapixel – the photography club, Rhythm, the dance club, Bookaholics Collective, and Travel ‘n’ Flavours for travelling and eating-out ideas.

Family Day

The annual Fidelity India Family Day has become an iconic brand within the wider Fidelity global community. It is a day to celebrate each employee and acknowledge the contribution they make towards the company.

Investing in the community

A philanthropic initiative launched in January 2010 with an objective to make meaningful contributions towards children with a need for education, healthcare, resources and psychological support. We are primarily focussed on helping children with special needs and promoting child education. The activities are carried out by an active set of volunteers who are dedicated towards accomplishing the objectives of this initiative.

We are currently sponsoring four Non-Government Organisations - The Shelter, Deepashram, Million Trees Gurgaon and Rahab.

In line with the organisation's focus on all-round development of its employees, Fidelity India has an active committee responsible for organising sports programmes for its employees. In the past, we have seen events such as the Annual Sports Day that brings together employees from various departments in a healthy competition in various sports activities like cricket, badminton and bowling. This grand event is making a comeback and will be staged again in early 2015, when our office gladiators will take to the track and field to do battle.
